Summary
Part of a package of six bills to give effect to the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme, the bill: amends 11 Acts and the Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997 consequent on the introduction of the scheme; and makes transitional arrangements to transfer the functions of the Greenhouse and Energy Data Officer and the Renewable Energy Regulator to the Australian Climate Change Regulatory Authority.
